The SkyPilot Gateway series is a carrier-class base station that also provides backhaul for remote SkyPilot Extender base stations through integrated multi-hop networking capabilities. The SkyPilot Gateway is the foundation of a true multi-hop network topology that delivers dynamic routing and self-healing along with outstanding scalability. Intelligent SyncMesh™ technology manages traffic across the wireless backhaul to mitigate interference and support QoS prioritized voice and data.
SkyPilot Gateways are also available in a DualBand model, providing an integrated 802.11b/g Wi-Fi access point that allows for simultaneous wireless client access without interrupting backhaul communications.The SkyPilot Gateway Series now offers a greater range of options for service providers and municipalities to deploy one wireless infrastructure that serves multiple private and public sector functions, including Wi-Fi access, public safety, mobile government staff communications, and more.
